ASTM A529 Grade 50 is a high-strength carbon-manganese structural steel angle. It features higher yield strength than standard A36 steel, allowing for weight reduction in structures. The addition of approximately 0.2% copper provides enhanced atmospheric corrosion resistance. Available in equal and unequal leg configurations, suitable for welding, riveting, and bolting.
