Stainless Steel 321/321H Sheets Plates
Alloy 321 (UNS S32100) is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate that offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range (800-1500°F / 427-816°C). It is stabilized by the addition of titanium, which prevents chromium carbide formation during welding or high-temperature exposure. SS 321 sheets possess good creep strength and higher stress rupture properties than Alloy 304/304L. It is widely used in high-temperature applications such as aircraft exhaust components, chemical processing equipment, and heat exchangers.
